Mendi Griner
Business has been a part of Mendi’s life since she was 9 and her father, who was a professor of finance, opened his first business. Family business was never Mendi’s goal, but she couldn’t deny its pull in her life. Having worked in the family business most of her life, she purchased Insta Lube 10 Minute Oil Change after the death of her father in 2012. Over the next 10 years Mendi and Clay worked together to increase business over 300%. Over these 10 years was when the mission of being a business owner developed and grew, giving her a passion for serving her employees and customers. In 2022 following the sale of Insta Lube, Mendi ventured into a new realm of logistics as the managing partner of JTTW Trucking Inc. The same passion drives her every day to provide the best service for her customers and environment for her employees while growing a robust bottom line.
Mendi is not a career coach or consultant, but a seasoned business owner and leader who has been through the ups, downs, and everywhere in between in regards to business. After helping other business owners over the years, Mendi has combined her passion for business with a passion for helping other business owners and leaders be the best they can be and live abundantly.
Mendi has been married to Clay for 27 years and they have 3 children, Mary Claire and Ellie (both 21) and Thomas (19).
Clay Griner
Clay started out washing cars at his family’s car dealership at the age of 13. He always wanted to be in the family business and worked through high school and college with that goal in mind. Upon graduating with a degree in finance, Clay started in the sales department and worked his way up to General Manager/Dealer before selling the business in 2017. In 2018 he went to work with a technology company in Valdosta, ECG, as the VP of Operation where he works today. In his role he focuses on operational efficiencies, contract negotiations, strategic and financial growth. Clay was also elected to the Lowndes County Board of Commissioners where he served the citizens for 10 years using his business experience to help guide the county.
Clay specializes in finance and all things related to the fiscal efficiency and success of a business's bottom line. Clay has been married to Mendi for 27 years and they have 3 children, Mary Claire and Ellie (both 21) and Thomas (19).
Katherine Freeman
Katherine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who’s been serving others since 2010. Katherine earned her degree in psychology from Auburn University and her Masters of Social Work from Valdosta State University. Over the years, Katherine has had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, from community mental health and college counseling to crisis response and private practice. She’s also had the opportunity to support people with developmental disabilities. In each of these roles, her goal has been the same, to help people become their most authentic selves.
Most recently, Katherine has taken a special focus on corporate care, supporting organizations in building healthier, more supportive environments for their employees. Her corporate care services include providing tailored mental health workshops, stress management training and employee support groups, as well as leadership coaching to help managers foster a culture of compassion and resilience. Katherine can work with individuals or groups, tailoring each experience to meet specific needs. She believes that investing in the well-being of teams not only benefits individual employees, but also strengthens the entire organization.
Katherine has been married to her husband Charlie for 18 years and has 3 boys, Trey (15), Hank (12), and Sam (7).
